During the fall of 2016, at LifePoint Church we began into an incredible new venture called REIGNITE.
The heart behind this is to continue to see life change happen for people within the walls of LifePoint Church and outside the walls and throughout the Carson Valley.

Our REIGNITE series in October and November culminated with a commitment Sunday on  November 20, where people from our church family pledge over $1.9 million to help take our church to the next level by providing more space for life change on our campus. View the video of this service below.

As we continue through this Reignite process for the next 3 years, we invite you to join in an explore more about this series and campaign. Begin by taking a look at our Case Statement. Then join our prayer team for a time of focused prayer throughout the series and many special events happening throughout the REIGNITE Campaign. If you want to commit to give, you are welcome to be part of this at any point. Construction on the new building is beginning in the spring of 2017.

Progress Update

During February, we are excited to share that the new playground equipment arrived. This is now in storage waiting for the spring weather to arrive so we can begin the installation process. Watch this fun update video below.

Photo Highlights

We’ll continue to add photos of the progress. Our most recent activity has been the permits to begin building. We have started hauling in dirt to prepare the ground for construction.

Commitment Sunday

Take a look at our services from Sunday, November 20 as we had a special day where people were able to make a commitment to give and/or pray for this next step in the life of our church.

Reignite Stories of Life Change

The heart behind Reignite is a desire to reignite our passion to reach the lost, lonely and hurting in our community and world.
As we continue this series, each week we will share some incredible stories about what God has done in the hearts of lives of people as they have interacted with LifePoint Church.

We invite you to share these stories with friends and family both online and beyond.

 What is REIGNITE?

LifePoint was designed for people who thought God was relevant to their lives, but church was not.  As we have matured, our mission has become three-fold: Loving God, Loving People, and Leaving a Legacy.  That is why we exist. Doing life together is a central focus of our church so we intentionally create places where people can experience God’s love. This love translates into ACTION and results in CHANGED LIVES. We carry that love by serving others in our community and we are using His love to make an impact on the world around us: “This is why
I remind you to fan into flames the spiritual gift God gave you when I laid my hands on you.” 2 Timothy 1:6 (NLT)

As our church grows numerically, we are seeing a greater impact on our local community, and the world, through expanded church services, activities, ministries, special events, and missions outreach. MORE MINISTRY creates the need for MORE SPACE, so more people can have life-changing encounters with Jesus and His people.
In a word: REIGNITE. We want to reignite our passion for the lost, the lonely, and the hurting.
And fan that into a flame, so more and more people can see what God has for them:  hope, help, and healing.
We see people engaging in that vision with prayer, sacrifice, service, stewardship, and generosity.

The Project

Classroom space is our greatest physical need. The planned 8,400 square-foot classroom building will be located directly south of the Student Ministry Room (SMR). This project features multiple classrooms, one of which is a large, open meeting space that can be divided down, convention-style, into smaller meeting areas.

More MEETING spaces = more MINISTRY opportunities = more CHANGED LIVES! We want to see God’s Kingdom continue to grow through these expanding areas of ministry, now bursting at the seams: Bible Institute, Biblical Counseling and Training, BreakOut, Community Bible Study, LifePoint Kids, Small Groups, Student Ministries, Special Events, Staff events, S.T.E.P., Women of Grace, local outreach and more.

The estimated cost to finish plans, obtain permits, and complete construction is $2 million. We are currently engaged in Douglas County’s Review Process awaiting approval to begin sending plans out to bid. LifePoint previously paid for a nearly complete set of plans, which is saving the church tens of thousands of dollars today.

What Can I do?

Will you prayerfully consider how God would lead you and your family to be a part of this REIGNITE campaign?  It all starts with prayer and aligning our priorities with God’s. Will you start praying now for lives to be changed?  And will you pray about the sacrifice God would ask you to make for us to see more lives changed.

Align your priorities
